Coral Hind Bottom

You would think that something red and orange with electric blue spots would be easier to see. But the crafty Coral Hind (Cephalopholis Miniata) blends quite well into the Coral Reefs of the Indo-Pacific and the Polynesian Islands, ambushing and eating anything that fits into its grouper-sized maw. Oblivious to contemporary social norms, the Coral Hind resides in harems comprised of a dominant male and up to 12 females. When something happens to the male, one of the females changes sex to take over the harem, thereby never really breaking the glass ceiling, but likely making 23 cents more per hour.
